Ok, so Ive been looking at getting back into a long range rifle. The last one I had was the ever so popular and overproduced Russian Mosin Nagant in 7.62x54R. Now, I want to get back into something a little more American, so Ive been looking at the Remington 700, either in 308 Winchester or 6.5. Creedmoor. Ive read nothing short of popularity for the 6.5 over the 308 since it came into play. My worry is that this hype will die down just like it did for the 6.8 SPC round. A round that shows nothing but promise and extreme dominance, but eventually gets knocked down due to pricing and lack of production.
Input is well appreciated!
