Just popped by from Twitter after learning of the trigger giveaway. I'm from Central Texas. I'm in my mid-50s, a veteran(Army), a horseman, and a network engineer. I am a firearms advocate, and a blogger too, although I've not been blogging much lately. (Too much paying work.)
I actually love Rise Armament triggers, and have a number of them. The next trigger I need to find would go in an LR-308, would be single stage, 3-3.5lb pull, and a heavier-than-normal hammer for the added inertia for hard primers. It would be a curved type. Something similar would probably be useful in a 7.62x39-chambered AR-15 I have as well.
Anyway, nice to see like-minded folk getting together! Nice forum!
